JD Vance makes unplanned return to Washington, claims report triggering speculations over Iran

Conservative commentator Nick Sortor claimed that Vice President JD Vance made an unplanned return to Washington DC Saturay as President Donald Trump called an emergency meeting of his national security team to deliberate on Iran. Nick Sorter also cited a Fox News report claiming that Trump held a 'breakthrough' call with Middle Eastern leaders on Iran.

The Washington Times reported that the US and Iran are expected to announce the finalization of a draft proposal of a peace deal by Sunday afternoon. Top negotiators, including Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalifbaf, Vice President JD Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, have approved the draft, the report said.
