JC Tretter turned the reports of his contract extension into reality on Friday morning. The standout center officially signed his new contract extension with the Cleveland Browns.
An obviously grateful and excited Tretter released a statement via the Browns upon his signing the contract,
I love my O-line room, I love this staff and I love living in Cleveland. It was an easy decision to stay. I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue my career as a Cleveland Brown. Thank you to my friends and family who have supported me along the way. Now, it’s time to get back to work!
Exact details of the extension have yet to be made officially public, but the widely reported numbers have it at three years and $32.5 million total, with more than $23 million guaranteed.
