Jazza Dickens will fight again in the autumn.
The IBF number nine-rated featherweight is part of the MTK Global-promoted Golden Contract tournament.
Dickens, 28, was selected to be in the competition after outpointing Australia’s Nathaniel May at the Eventim Olympia in Liverpool back in July, exclusively live on iFL TV in the UK and ESPN+ Stateside.
The IBF European champion is joined by some stellar names in the shape of British champion Ryan Walsh and Commonwealth champion Leigh Wood.
The winner of the tournament –– which also features WBA number seven Hairon Socarras, WBO European featherweight champion David Oliver Joyce and WBO European super-bantamweight champion Tyrone McCullagh, with two other names to be confirmed –– will land a two-year, five-fight deal with one of the world’s leading promoters that guarantees six-figure purses for every fight along with global exposure.
And they will all be in action on October 4 at Bethnal Green’s famous York Hall venue in London.
To add to the excitement, fighters will not know their opponents until fight week, at the start of which the highly anticipated draws will be made. All titles held will be on the line in each fight and knockout bonuses are also on offer.
Three quarter-finals nights will take place in October and November, three semi-finals nights in February and March and the all-important finals will be staged in May and June.
Details regarding further additions to the tournaments –– with the super-lightweight and light-heavyweight divisions also included –– will be revealed in due course.
