A run-down bungalow on the Brooklands estate in Jaywick Sands, Essex. The area was built in 1928 as a seaside getaway for city dwellers as part of the Plotlands movement of the 1920s and 1930s but has since fallen into disrepair. A high proportion of the adult population receive government benefits and parts of the area do not have roads or street lighting
