Boston Celtics All-Star small forward Jayson Tatum watched his team stumble yet again on the night he was honored with an All-Star nod for the second time. To make matters worse, it happened after the Celtic helped mount a powerful comeback attempt late in the game against the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday.
There has been speculation that perhaps the team’s two star wings, Tatum and first-time All-Star forward Jaylen Brown, have lost trust in their teammates since everyone from two-way point guard Tremont Waters to starting point guard Kemba Walker has had issues with their games during this most unusual of seasons.
Asked by the media whether he thinks the club trusts one another, the Duke product emphatically stated that was indeed the case.
