Jayson Tatum links up with Tom Brady and Aaron Judge at event hosted by Fanatics and Make-A-Wish

Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum teamed up with NFL great Tom Brady and MLB All-Star Aaron Judge in Brooklyn to spend time with young people living with critical illnesses on Tuesday. The event in question was a collaboration between the apparel brand Fanatics and the charity group Make-A-Wish. Tatum, Brady, and Judge took pictures and played around on the floor of the Barclay’s Center to mark the day.

This marks the beginning of a new partnership between the two organizations. As Fanatics Chief People Officer Orlando Ashorf explained in a recent press release, the hope is that this new relationship will lead to similar events in the future, connecting young people with the sports and athletes they love.

“Fanatics has been championing Make-A-Wish and its incredible efforts for many years,” Ashord said. “This partnership will be an ongoing testament to the power of sports and the possibilities for children to heal through connections to their favorite teams and sports heroes,”

Tatum has worked with Fanatics on similar events previously. The All-NBA recently visiting Gillette Stadium at a give-away event with the New England Patriots over the summer.

Tatum’s Celtics face the New York Knicks on the road to open the NBA season Wednesday night. Spending the final moments of his offseason attending an event like this speaks highly of Tatum’s commitment to his impact off the court, even as Boston gears up for a deep postseason run.
