Jayne Torvill acted 'abrupt' on ITV's Dancing on Ice live show say fans

Fans of ITV's Dancing on Ice believe they noticed tension on the show's judging panel after spotting Nottingham legend Jayne Torvill looking unhappy during the latest live show.

From rollercoasters to beekeeping, week five saw the nine remaining celebrities take to the ice to perform routines inspired by their favourite things on Sunday, February 13.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were back with judges Oti Mabuse, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean on hand to critique the couples.

However, viewers found themselves distracted by Jayne Torvill's facial expressions, with some claiming she appeared unhappy, Birmingham Live reports.

And viewers took to Twitter to comment on the moment.

Jo @Jotan70 tweeted: "Jayne does not look happy tonight! When the camera isn't directly on her she looks really peed off."

Melissa @Lissylu33 agreed, commenting: "I thought the same. She doesn’t seem at all happy and seems really abrupt, too."

Dawn @dawn1star also thought Jayne looked unhappy, writing: "Jayne doesn’t look in a very good mood tonight."

Elsewhere, not all fans of the ITV dancing show were happy to see Phillip Schofield return to the show after a week away, with some claiming Stephen Mulhern should be made a permanent host instead.

Twitter user @TVprattle said: "Why oh why did they have to bring smug Phil back. Downbeat compared to last week.

"ITV should've kept Stephen Mulhern if they don't want people fast forwarding."

And Bryan @corby_tun said: "Dancing on Ice it feels very downbeat show tonight."

Dancing on Ice airs on Sundays at 6pm on ITV and ITV Hub
