Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jaylen Brown will sit in Sunday night’s game against the Washington Wizards with a flare up of his left knee tendonitis, with head coach Brad Stevens describing his condition as ‘very much day-to-day’.
The Georgia native was revealed to be suffering from chronic tendonitis in his knee by team president Danny Ainge earlier in the month, and had been listed as questionable for the tilt the evening prior. Brown will join veteran guard Marcus Smart (calf tear) and second-year wing Romeo Langford (wrist surgery rehabilitation) as unavailable for the contest against the Wizards.

While it is far from optimal to be without the Cal-Berkeley product’s services for the evening, Boston will have veteran starting point guard Kemba Walker available for the game.
Hopefully, it will be enough star power along with All-Star wing Jayson Tatum to garner a second consecutive victory for the Celtics for the first time since late January.
