Jaylen Brown links up with rapper Napoleon at his Saudi Arabian BBQ restaurant

Boston Celtics All-NBA forward Jaylen Brown is in Saudi Arabia visiting rapper Napoleon’s BBQ restaurant Smokey Beards Q, according to an Instagram post by the former member of Outlawz. The trip comes a few days after Brown’s trip to Paris for fashion week, during which he rubbed elbows with celebrities such as Formula One superstar Louis Hamilton.

Mutah Beale, who raps under the name Napoleon and started his career alongside the late Tupac Shakur, was born in New Jersey but has since moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. What started as a small coffee venture led to his new spirit of entrepreneurship. A few years later, Napoleon opened his newest venture, Smokey Beards Q, a Texas-style BBQ smokehouse.

This isn’t Brown’s first big international tour. He has made a habit of traveling the world during the NBA’s offseason, including to the Middle East. Dedicated fans of the Celtics will remember Brown’s trip to Egypt, which birthed the meme “Desert Jaylen.”
