Jayden Braaf loan move to Udinese includes no Man City transfer clause

Jayden Braaf is expected to return to Manchester City at the end of the season after no purchase option was included in his loan move to Udinese.

As M.E.N Sport reported in December, the club began exploring the option of a January deal for one of the most talented youngsters in their academy after a frustrating period for the player at the club culminated in him being frozen out of academy games weeks after helping them to win the FA Youth Cup final.

Udinese have offered Braaf the chance to play for them in the second half of the season, with manager Marco Gotti declaring his excitement at the deal after watching highlights videos of the 18-year-old in action.

City were open to a permanent sale in January if the right offer came along - highlighting the extent of the fallout with Braaf - but it is understood that the Serie A side do not have any option to trigger the purchase of the winger at the end of the season if they want to.

That does not mean that they will be unable to buy him, just that there is no agreement and that as things currently stand Braaf will be heading back to the Etihad in time for next season.

City scouts will be keeping a keen eye on the talented teenager to see how he fares in Italy in a move that the player hopes will kickstart a career that had stalled in Manchester.
