Jay Gruden says Adrian Peterson-Derrius Guice drama is settled

For a moment, it seemed like the Washington Redskins had a silly situation underway.

Going into Week 1, head coach Jay Gruden named Derrius Guice the starter at running back and made veteran Adrian Peterson inactive.

While there were rumblings about the decision from various parts of the football world, Peterson himself didn’t seem to have much to say.

But as captured above by Craig Hoffman of 106.7 The Fan from Gruden’s presser Wednesday, he made it clear he needs to do a better job of communicating that type of decision to his locker room.

That seems like an admission not everyone loved the idea, but Gruden surely knew that beforehand. Either way, he won’t have the same problem next week with Guice injured.
