Jay Gruden had a hilarious response to Josh Norman’s bull-jumping video

A couple weeks ago, Josh Norman likely caused a hectic day for his agent and the Washington Redskins when a video hit social media of him literally jumping over a bull in Pamplona, Spain.

It goes without saying, but trying to jump over a bull is dangerous and shouldn’t be attempted by any person — especially a person who is contractually obligated to avoid such dangerous activities.

Thankfully, Norman cleared the bull without incident, went viral on social media and created the most extreme plyometric workout I’ve ever seen. It was a solid day, but don’t think that Norman was let totally off the hook by the Redskins.

During a Wednesday press conference, head coach Jay Gruden was asked about Norman’s daring jump over a bull. And I must say that Gruden had the perfect insult lined up for the star defensive back.

He said:

“Well, I knew the bull wouldn’t hit him. He avoids contact.”

Boom. He went there.

Gruden clarified that he was just kidding, but that joke was so good. Let’s just hope that Norman doesn’t take it too seriously (even if there was a lot of truth behind that joke).
