Jay Dasilva says the reception he got from Bristol City's fans last season helped convince him to join the club permanently.
The full-back has turned his loan from Chelsea into a permanent deal, signing a four-year contract with the Robins.
Last season saw him quickly win the affections of Robins fans, and he said the way the fans took to him really left an impression.
He told the club website: "I’m excited to get going again, pick up where I left off last season.
"Last season was good for me, I enjoyed it a lot from the moment I stepped into the club and I settled in well with everyone.
"It took me a while to get regular minutes but as soon as I started playing it was an enjoyable experience for me.
"The fans took to me and that was a big thing for me. They really played a key factor in me wanting to come back and sign permanently.
"I’m comfortable at the club, I get on well with the boys, the gaffer and having the fans behind me is a big thing.
"I’m excited for this season and I think we can go better from last year. It’s always the aim to gain promotion and we’re all ready to give more than 100 per cent to achieve that goal."
