'Jawan' director Atlee halts work on Shahid Kapoor-led Bollywood film; to focus on next with Allu Arjun

Atlee may have tried juggling his work commitments, but according to the latest buzz, the director has decided to pause his work and shift focus to his most ambitious project yet.

According to the latest buzz, the director, who had films with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and 1-film-old Veer Paharia, has reportedly paused the upcoming projects to concentrate on his next with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun. Reports on Mid-Day stated that Atlee was set to direct a film featuring Shahid in the lead, however, plot details of the same remained undisclosed.

Another project put on hold is an action thriller starring Veer, who made his film debut in 'Sky Force', opposite Akshay Kumar.

By postponing these ventures, Atlee reportedly aims to dedicate his full attention to the rumoured Rs 600 crore film with Allu Arjun. Prior to this, reports stated that the director replaced Salman Khan with the 'Pushpa' star considering that the budget for the film is one of the biggest ones in the film industry. Meanwhile, other contradictory reports also allege that Salman may just be tied to the project, co-starring in a prominent role. However, an official announcement on the same is still awaited.
