Javi Gracia hails attitude of in-form Watford midfielder Roberto Pereyra

Roberto Pereyra's goals may have propelled Watford to three wins out of three but it is his attitude which has impressed boss Javi Gracia.

Former Juventus midfielder Pereyra scored his third goal of the season as the high-flying Hornets beat Crystal Palace 2-1 on Sunday.

The in-form Argentinian could get the chance to add to his tally when Watford head to Reading in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

Gracia said: "He is an important player for us. I think in this moment he feels confident and he finishes his chances to score very well.

"He is working with a good balance with the rest of the team. He's showing a good attitude when we lose the ball, pressing high.

"Most important at the moment is the attitude of the team, but everybody knows he is playing well."

Gerard Deulofeu, Nathaniel Chalobah, Stefano Okaka and Miguel Britos could be in contention to feature for the first time this season at the Madejski Stadium.

Former Chelsea midfielder Chalobah had surgery last September after fracturing a kneecap, and although he made a late substitute appearance at the end of last season, Watford have been building up his fitness so far this term.

Tom Cleverley remains on the sidelines after undergoing an Achilles operation.
