JaVale McGee just completed the most devious play of his entire career

Oh, JaVale McGee. You continue to be the most entertaining player on an NBA floor.

The center has been called out for his quirkiness over the years, which has gotten him on to Shaqtin’ a Fool many times. But he’s also a two-time NBA champion when he was with the Golden State Warriors.

Let’s focus on one play from a preseason tilt against his former team that proves he’s so smart. It looked like comes up limping after cutting off a post-up against Draymond Green. He hops out of bounds, so Green doubles Anthony Davis … who finds a wide-open and suddenly healthy (?) McGee under the hoop for a stuff.

DEVIOUS!

I’d think that if McGee turned this into a standard play during, say, the postseason, the NBA would immediately institute the JaVale McGee Rule in which players can’t fake injuries. But you have to admit, for now it’s brilliant … except that he used it in the preseason.
