Jasprit Bumrah stays on top of ICC Test rankings for bowlers

Following his exploits and 'Player of the Series' award in the five-Test Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) series in Australia, India's fast-bowling ace Jasprit Bumrah climbed to the top of International Cricket Council's (ICC) Test rankings for bowlers and continues to be the No. 1 red-ball bowler in the latest update released by the ICC on Wednesday.

The 32 wickets in the BGT gave Bumrah the highest ICC Rankings rating ever for an Indian bowler at 907 points, which has gone up by a point to 908 in the latest update.

The Australian quick Pat Cummins (841) occupies the second position, with South African speedster Kagiso Rabada (837) is in third place.

Pakistani bowler Noman Ali (761) has moved into the top-10 following his impressive six-wicket performance in the opening Test versus West Indies at Multan.

The Test all-rounders' top-10 standings remain unchanged, with Ravindra Jadeja (400 ratings points) maintaining his leading position, followed by South Africa's Marco Jansen (294) and Bangladesh's Mehidy Hasan (263) in second and third positions respectively.
