Hollywood hunk Jason Statham has been given the ultimate accolade. No, the star of The Transporter, Revolver and Snatch won't be receiving any awards at Sunday's Oscars – at least, we don't think he will be – but he has been given his very own "hard man" season on Channel Five this month. Woo-hoo! Previous cinematic idols to have been given such an honour include Andrei Tarkov ... sorry, Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme, who the station paired in a movie "face-off" a few months back. We can only wait for the Statham face-off with another of Five's favourites... Nick Baker. Now THAT Monkey would pay to see.
