Jason Quigley returns home to hero's welcome following Shane Mosley Jr victory in Las Vegas

Jason Quigley returned home to a hero's welcome following his Las Vegas win over Shane Mosley Jr.

The Donegal man is back on Irish soil after winning via majority decision in a war on the undercard of Devin Haney's successful WBC lightweight title defence against Jorge Linares over the weekend.

Quigley was greeted by fans in his native county as he made his way home with the WBO-NABO middleweight title.

Sharing photos on Twitter, the 30-year-old said: "Amazing welcome home #Blessed."

Quigley is now targeting a bout with WBO world middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade after the Las Vegas victory.

Speaking after the fight in the early hours of Sunday morning, he said: "I've got the belt now; I want to move on. I remember, three or four years ago, when Boo Boo Andrade had no promoter, he had no real management going on. He was like, 'I'll fight this Jason Quagley guy'. He didn't even pronounce my second name right.

"Boo Boo Andrade, now you're the champ. You're always crying that you don't have people to fight you. I'm not saying I'm going to get in and kick your ass. I'll get in there and put on one hell of a fight with you. I've got a belt, you've got the main one, give me a crack at that title!"
