Jason Peters breaks silence telling @6abc he will play 1 more year to chase another SB but it probably will not be with Eagles

Jason Peters will be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day, but that countdown to Canton won’t be starting in 2021.
Jeff Skversky of 6ABC caught up with the aging left tackle, and Peters confirmed his desire to play “one more” season in hopes of chasing down another Lombardi Trophy.
When asked about the 2020 season, Peters had this to say.
“Fans deserve more than what we gave them this year. Hopefully, we’ll be able to bounce back with this new coach & new staff.”
Peters missed the Eagles Super Bowl 52 win over New England with a torn ACL.
Peters returned to the Eagles in July with the intention of playing right guard after Brandon Brooks suffered an Achilles tear.
After starting left tackle Andre Dillard suffered a season-ending biceps tear, the Eagles moved Peters back to the position that he manned since 2009.
Peters initially went on Injured Reserve with the toe injury following the Week 3 game against the Bengals and missed four games.
Acquired via trade with the Buffalo Bills in 2009, Peters started in all 148 regular-season games with the Eagles.
