Jason Kelce officially retired from the NFL and fans paid tribute to his incredible career

One of the greatest offensive linemen to ever play in the NFL has officially called it a career.

The Philadelphia Eagles held a press conference on Monday where longtime center Jason Kelce shared his intent to retire from the league after 13 seasons playing for the franchise.

The sixth-round pick out of Cincinnati made seven Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2018. He’s a six-time first-team All-Pro player in his career.

Kelce turned into a quick fan favorite with the Eagles and has built a strong following off the field along with his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, on their podcast New Heights. Amazon released a documentary about the longtime Eagles player in 2023.

NFL fans immediately showed their admiration for Kelce, the Philly sports legend and future Hall of Famer, and his incredible career as news broke of his official retirement from the league.
