Jason Kelce named Eagles offseason workout champion once again

You can make all the comments you want about his physique or lack thereof, but there’s no denying that Eagles star center, Jason Kelce, may be the hardest worker on the team. For the second time in the past three seasons, the All-Pro center will take home the teams championship belt for his prowess in offseason workouts the Eagles announced on Thursday.

The challenge stems from head coach Doug Pederson and the strength and conditioning team giving the players a chance to compete against each other in offseason activities such as tug of war, agility drills, strength tests, and other various competitions.

“He won it two years ago and he won it again this spring. That guy is unbelievable. He’s a stud. I love him,” Pederson said. “He comes to work every day wanting to be better, wanting to be coached, coaching other players. He does a great job.”

As the teams center, Kelce has always been deemed the smartest athlete on the team, but now it’s time people start noticing Kelce for his overall potential and athletic ability. Kelce is coming off his second straight All-Pro selection, and his just hitting his peak.
