Jason Heyward's return must wait after Cubs' game vs. Brewers is rained out

CHICAGO _ Jason Heyward's return will have to wait.

Saturday's Cubs-Brewers game at Wrigley Field was rained out. The makeup game will be played on Thursday, July 6 at 1:20 p.m.

Jake Arrieta, Saturday's scheduled starter, will pitch on Sunday with the rest of the rotation pushed back a day.

The Cubs did not make any official roster moves after activating Heyward from the disabled list, but neither Tommy La Stella nor Pierce Johnson were with the team in the clubhouse Saturday morning. Pitcher Dylan Floro, however, was.
