Jason Gardiner shares wild story about snorting drugs in VIP toilets

Former Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner has told of how he snorted cocaine as a teenager.

And he hinted that it was legendary hellraiser Grace Jones who gave him the drug.

Jason claimed he was 19 and starring in West Side Story in the US when he was offered the white powder at a club.

He said: “I was waiting to go for a slash in the VIP toilet when this Amazonian creature came in in a liquid-slate catsuit.

“She had this flawless ebony skin and her presence was formidable. She had a cat face, flawless ebony skin. Beautiful.

“From her crutch she pulled a bag of white powder and from a fingernail she scooped up a mound and held it under my nose.

“Now I had no idea what it was. So she snorted it.

Jason is a former judge on ITV talent show Dancing on Ice (ITV)

“She scooped up another amount and put it right under my nostril. And within seconds my entire face, lips, teeth and tongue went completely numb.”

While Jason told the story during his one-man show in London’s West End, the Grace Jones song Pull Up To The Bumper was playing – hinting that he was talking about her.

Model, actress and pop star Grace, 71, has previously told of how she used to snort cocaine “like others drank coffee”.

She said: “It wasn’t so much a question of quantity as of quality. Doing cocaine was a lot more festive and social then. We snorted it like others drank coffee.

“And it was never hidden. The proof: at Studio 54, a huge coke spoon was hung above the dancefloor.

“Today, things are a lot less convivial – people disappear into the bathroom every five minutes.”

Aussie choreographer Jason, 48, was famed for his acerbic comments as a judge on Dancing On Ice.

He quit the ITV show last year after years of controversy and has been replaced by Doctor Who and Torchwood star John Barrowman, 52, for the current series.

During his show In The Closet, at Crazy Coqs Brasserie in Soho, Jason also confessed to having taken love drug viagra.

He said: “When I moved to New Zealand it coincided with the Sydney Mardi Gras. I decided to chuck a sickie and flew to Sydney to attend with all my drag queen chums.

“At first I was petrified but then I took a pill... that pill was strong.

“I wore a sequined thong.”
