Jason Bateman's wife Amanda Anka says she was groped by celebrity hotelier Andre Balazs

Jason Bateman's wife Amanda Anka has accused celebrity hotelier Andre Balazs of groping her at a London dinner party in 2014.

Balazs, 60, owns the boutique chain the Standard, Hollywood celebrity hotspot Chateau Marmont and the Chiltern Firehouse in London _ the latter of which hosted a dinner party following the premiere of Bateman's movie "Horrible Bosses 2."

According to the New York Times, Balazs offered to take a group _ which also included Bateman's co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day _ on a tour of the building.

Balazs's tour included a stop in a room upstairs that was accessible via a firehouse-style ladder.

As Anka _ daughter of famed singer Paul _ ascended the ladder, witnesses told the Times, Balazs reached his hand up her dress and grabbed her crotch.

Anka allegedly informed the group of the grope, and Bateman confronted Balazs and spit gum in his face. Following the altercation, the couple promptly left the party.

Day's wife Mary Elizabeth Ellis told the Times that she witnessed "inappropriate and offensive" behavior by Balazs, and Bateman and Anka confirmed the grope.

"On behalf of Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka, we can confirm that the account of Andre Balazs's outrageous and vile behavior on that night in London is factual," a rep for the couple said in a statement. "His actions were dealt with at the time."

Balazs was also accused of sexual assault by an ex-Chateau Marmont employee and a media executive.

The hotelier previously dated stars like Chelsea Handler and Uma Thurman.

Thurman has remained mum on the mounting allegations against Hollywood A-listers like Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey because, she says, she's waiting for her anger to subside.

"I don't have a tidy sound bite for you because I've learned _ I'm not a child, and I've learned that when I've spoken in anger I usually regret the way I express myself," she told Access Hollywood.

"So I've been waiting to feel less angry. And when I'm ready, I'll say what I have to say."
