Jarvis Landry: Throwing arm feeling better after being ‘sore as hell’ following his TD strike to Odell Beckham

Jarvis Landry has yet to find the end zone as a receiver in 2020, but he’s got credit for one of the best touchdowns the Cleveland Browns have scored this season. Landry hit Odell Beckham Jr. with a perfect strike on a gadget play for a long touchdown in the Browns’ 49-38 win over Dallas in Week 4.

Landry’s throw wasn’t easy on him. The veteran wide receiver has complained all week of having a sore left (throwing) shoulder. It wound up being the first question in Landry’s press conference on Thursday.

“It’s actually feeling better today,” Landry said with an earnest smile. “I’m not lying to you guys, I literally had two of the worst days of my life with this, with my lat (shoulder muscle). It was sore, sore as hell.”

Later in the press conference, Landry reminisced about throwing the ball with Beckham when the two were at LSU and how special it was for that connection to happen together.
