Jarvis Landry suffered a broken rib in the Week 5 win over the Colts

Jarvis Landry has never missed a game in his seven-year NFL career. Landry isn’t letting a broken rib suffered early in the Browns’ Week 5 win over the Colts from snapping his consecutive game streak at 102.

Landry revealed he broke a rib on the third play of the game in the win over Indianapolis when he took a huge hit. The veteran WR crawled off the field after the hit but did return to action. Landry also played over half the offensive snaps in the Week 6 loss to the Steelers.

“It hurts,” Landry said of the rib during his press conference on Thursday. “Depending on the play or whatever, at times it is bearable. We have done a good job of making sure that I am getting protection here throughout the week and making sure that I cover it up and do whatever I need to do to play on Sundays.”

Landry sat out practice last week but has been a limited participant in both sessions this week in advance of Sunday’s trip to Cincinnati.
