The final issue of the popular manga series "Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer)" created by Koyoharu Gotoge and featured in Shueisha Inc.'s serial manga magazine Shonen Jump (Weekly Jump) went on sale Monday.

Set in Japan's Taisho period (1912-1926), the story revolves around a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was slaughtered by human-eating demons, his younger sister and their friends as they confront those very demons.

Since its publication in February 2016, "Demon Slayer" has published over 60 million copies and been made into an animated series. It has seen such enthusiastic support that it is often sold out in some bookstores.
