Commenting on U.S. President Donald Trump's intention to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un for a second round of summit talks, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said Tuesday that North Korea should swiftly implement agreements between the leaders of the United States and North Korea.

Meanwhile, in New York on Monday, Foreign Minister Taro Kono told the media, "I hope the process of denuclearization will be steadily pushed forward and the U.N. resolutions will be surely carried out if the second round of U.S.-North Korean talks is held."
