Japan suffers 1st loss in women's wheelchair basketball

Japan on Friday lost its women's wheelchair basketball match against Canada 35-61 in the first round of the group stage at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Japan has already secured two consecutive wins in Group A, but the team struggled with Friday's matchup from the beginning, being outmuscled by the more physical Canadians.
