Japan sees 70 percent chance of La Nina weather pattern lasting into spring

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's weather bureau said on Thursday that a La Nina weather pattern is continuing, with a 70 percent chance of it lasting into spring.

The Japan Meteorological Agency said last month that a La Nina weather pattern has emerged and it saw a 60 percent chance of it continuing through to the end of spring.
