Sara Takanashi won her first Ski Jumping World Cup event of the season and her 56th overall, at the women's normal hill individual competition in Ljubno, Slovenia, on Sunday.
Takanashi took the lead with an 89.5-meter first jump and followed up with an 82.5-meter second jump, finishing with 223.9 points. Maren Lundby of Norway, who leads the overall World Cup standings, finished second with 221.8 points.
The event was the 15th women's individual competition of the season.
