Japan's confirmed novel coronavirus infections top 100,000

The cumulative number of Japan's confirmed infections of the novel coronavirus surpassed 100,000 on Thursday, according to information compiled by The Yomiuri Shimbun.

The total includes 712 people on the virus-infected Diamond Princess cruise ship that docked in Yokohama.
