Fuji Dream Airlines has partnered with a bridal company to let couples take wedding photos in an aircraft hangar at Nagoya Airport in Aichi Prefecture, in lieu of a ceremony.

The partnership was launched in a bid to recoup losses that the airline has suffered as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

The first couple to use this service was Masaki Fukui and his wife, Miho, from Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo.

"We were looking for a place where we could get photos taken near a plane," Fukui said.

With him in a tuxedo and his wife in a wedding dress, the couple had their photoshoot on March 29 in front of a Fuji Dream Airlines plane.
