January transfers 2020: Former Premier League stars who switched clubs during the transfer window

The January transfer window has now closed, with clubs around Europe finishing their business for the 2019/20 season.

While much of the attention here has been on the Premier League, particularly Manchester United ’s pursuit of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, there have been hundreds of transfers taking place around the continent.

A number of these involve players who will be familiar to supporters of Premier League teams, including the likes of Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool.

Here's a list of some former Premier League stars who have used the January transfer window to find a new club.

Fabio Borini (AC Milan to Hellas Verona) - former Premier League clubs: Liverpool, Sunderland

Javier Hernandez (Sevilla to LA Galaxy) - former Premier League clubs: Man Utd, West Ham

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (LA Galaxy to AC Milan) - former Premier League club: Man Utd
