January assignment: Photographing achievement and inspiration on film

I don't mind the vignetting, but personally I would have preferred a sharper image Photograph: Graham Turner for the Guardian

The flash is fixed on the camera and there is a choice of aperture - or rather a small hole for sunny, and a slightly larger one for cloudy Photograph: Graham Turner for the Guardian
