Janine Butcher will romance Steve McDonald as EastEnders and Coronation Street crossover.
The two soap legends from Walford and Weatherfield will meet in a sketch for BBC Children in Need.
EastEnders’ Janine (played by Charlie Brooks) is looking for love and turns to Channel 4’s hit dating show First Dates to help with her search.

In an unexpected twist, she comes face to face with Coronation Street’s Steve McDonald (played by Simon Gregson).
Steve, who has been married seven times, unwittingly finds himself on a date with fiery Janine.
The pair are greeted at the restaurant by First Dates Maitre D Fred Sirieix.
Steve and Janine then bond over taxi firms and pubs, before talk turns to relationships.
Janine asks Steve if she's ever been married, but she's shocked to hear exactly how many times.
She said: "So you're not afraid of commitment then?"
Steve said: "Or divorce courts."
Speaking about the upcoming sketch, Charlie wrote on social media: "So THIS happened!! JANINE goes on @firstdates!
"But who is the unlucky man??? I LOVE this show.
"We had some fun make sure you tune in to CHILDREN IN NEED @bbccin to find out…."
Written by BAFTA Award-winning and EMMY nominated British television writer Daran Little, the sketch will be part of the BBC Children in Need appeal show on BBC One from 7pm on Friday, November 19.
