Janey Godley's brilliant voiceover of Nicola Sturgeon's first haircut as she asks 'just the usual Sharon'

Janey Godley says Nicola Sturgeon's haircut was making her look like a tabby cat in a hilarious new voiceover.

The Scots comedian who has gone viral over lockdown with her own interpretations of the First Minister's coronavirus updates, couldn't resist voicing a clip of The First Minister's haircut as salons re-opened.

In a clip of the First Minister sitting down and getting her hair trimmed, Janey pretends to be the hairdresser and says: "Would you like a wee demi wave in your hair there Nicola?"

She replied as Nicola: "No thanks Sharon just the usual. The auld short back and sides. "

The hairdresser voice then says: "Where you going on your holidays Nicola, going anywhere nice?"

Nicola replied: "No Sharon, I cannae go anywhere. Its the lockdown. I'll be lucky to head down to the caravan."

The hairdresser requests: "Are you sure you don't want a wee demi wave? I could put a curl in that."

Nicola replies: "The thought of me with a demi wave in my hair - big giant curly perm hanging oot ma head. I was like 'No Sharon for f*** sake."

I'd need to get a loan of George Galloway's hat but then I remembered he's not allowed on the leaders debate so I wont be getting a loan of his hat at all."

"But at the end of day I got my roots done and that will be me for two weeks at least. Honest to god Its such a f***ing relief. I was starting to look like a tabby cat."
