Janey Godley in brilliant Nicola Sturgeon voiceover for Scotland win as FM 'nearly vomited up corned beef sandwich'

Janey Godley is at it again with another hilarious voiceover of Nicola Sturgeon.

The Scots funnywoman captured the mood of the nation perfectly as the First Minister 'reacted' to Scotland’s victory over Serbia.

Janey has given us all a little bit of light relief in these unprecedented times with her famous impressions of Sturgeon during her daily coronavirus press briefings.

This time, the comedian couldn’t help herself in providing her take on Scotland’s triumph in the football last night.

Dubbing a video of the First Minister, she said: “Honest tae god, ma nerves were f*****g shattered - I near vomited up ma corned beef sandwich wae the nerves I had.

“See when Serbia got that goal, ah was ready to smash aw the ornaments in the hoose.

“See when Marshall saved that penalty, honest tae god I screamed that loud. The neighbours were like 'what the f**k is going on' and I was like ‘yaaaass’ ya b*****d on yersel Scotland f****n yaaaass.”

Janey posted the video shortly after it was confirmed that the Scottish men’s national football team will be going to Euro 2020 next year.

The side were victorious in a nerve-wracking play-off final last night after beating Serbia on penalties.

It is the first time that the men’s side have reached the finals of a major tournament in 22 years.

Like the majority of Janey’s voiceovers, her take on last night’s historic moment has gone viral, with more than 3,000 people liking the video on Twitter.

One person wrote: ‘This is absolutely brilliant! I’ll be sending it to my folks first thing in the morning…it’ll make their day.”

Another said: “Omg this is so funny, crying with laughter."

The 'real' First Minister also hailed Scotland's victory last night.

In a tweet, Sturgeon wrote: "Massive congratulations to Steve Clarke and the team.
