Janey Godley gives hilarious insight into Nicola Sturgeon's thoughts on Andrew Marr voiceover

Most of us would give anything to hear what some of our top politicians are really thinking.

And thanks to Scots comic Janey Godley, we got a bit of an inkling into the inner workings of Nicola Sturgeon this morning - and they're a bit raunchier than you might imagine.

Comedian Janey has struck gold again with her latest hilarious First Minister voiceover.

She dubbed a scene during the politician's appearance on The Andrew Marr Show on BBC One, which had the nation in stitches.

Giving an insight into what she imagines is the dream world of Scotland's leader, Janey spoke while the FM was waiting on the journalist to finish his questions.

She said: "Wish I was lying in my outside jacuzzi right now with my feet up, drinking a big bottle of Prosecco and eating a roll and square sausage than being here.

Quickly tuning in to speak directly to the presenter, she said: "The point is Andrew, the Tories huvnae won an election in Scotland in 60 years so ram it Bunty."

Then she went on: "Right back to dreamin'.

"George Clooney comes oot the kitchen and he's like Nicola do ye want a wee bit of tomato sauce fur yer sausage roll and I'm like naw George get that towel aff and climb into the jacuzzi with me , he's got a wee roll and scrambled egg."

Janey has kept the nation entertained throughout the coronavirus pandemic with her hilarious takes on the First Minister's daily briefings.

Janey Godley and Nicola Sturgeon have teamed up for a special charity comedy sketch (STV)

She's even won the seal of approval from Ms Sturgeon herself, with the FM teaming up with the funny woman for a special sketch during the STV Children's Appeal in October.

She'll no doubt appreciate seeing a funny side to what was one of the toughest TV interviews she has faced this year.

Ms Sturgeon was forced to defend her handling of the coronavirus crisis against figures showing the death rate in Scotland and in Scottish care homes is higher than other parts of the UK.
