Janet Street Porter makes brutal dig at Boris Johnson and his sex life track record

Janet Street Porter did not hold back on Tuesday's Loose Women as she discussed Boris Johnson's latest lockdown update.

As Ruth Langsford stated that people can hug each other from May 17 onwards, Janet was keen to have her say.

The 74-year-old star said: "Yeah I’m gonna hug people. I’ve had a few sneaky hugs in the last few weeks, us double jabbers!"

She then continued: "I do find it funny that we’re being told by a Prime Minister to be cautious and act with common sense when it comes to our sex lives.

"Obviously looking at his track record, you think, 'there’s a bit of a black mark in that department Boris'!"

Janet Street Porter made a cheeky comment about Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday's Loose Women (ITV)

Fellow panelists Coleen Nolan and Brenda Edwards began laughing, as Janet added: "I don’t necessarily think it’s the government’s job to tell me how to conduct my private life."

The outspoken star then shouted: "One night stands will be back won’t they?!"

Brenda and Coleen then went on to discuss their recent experiences on dating apps, as Brenda admitted: "Men, they’re a bit more tactile than what they usually are."

"I’ve noticed they’re very honest about it," Coleen added, as a shocked Ruth asked: "Are they quick to say what they need?"

"Yes, I think that’s because they’ve been cooped up and they’re quite frustrated," Brenda replied.

However, Brenda said she's not the type of person to have a one night stand which led to Coleen calling her a "liar".

It comes after Coleen admitted that her toyboy lover broke up with her as he couldn't "handle who she was".

The Loose Women star, 56, told everyone about her relationship last year but kept the man's identity a secret.

She met the mystery man on a dating app and the two only saw each other twice in person before the lockdown.

However, due to their constant messaging and calls, she ended up "falling for him".

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan recently admitted that her toyboy lover had broken up with her because she's famous (ITV)

She revealed: "I really started to fall for him and I couldn't wait to see him.

"But then as lockdown started lifting, he was meant to pick me up, but the day before he went weird on the texting front."

She added to OK! magazine : "I asked why he wasn't replying and he told me he really liked me, but couldn't handle who I was. I was so hurt and angry."

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
