Janet Jackson looks ageless in all-black as she brings curtain down on Pride of Britain Awards

Janet Jackson left onlookers stunned at the Pride of Britain Awards 2019 with her age-defying style as she arrived for the glamorous ceremony in an all-black outfit.

She beamed as she posed for the cameras at the Grosvenor House hotel in London wearing a long black top, matching baggy trousers and stiletto boots, with her gorgeous curls flicked over her right shoulder.

Janet closed the show by presenting Dame Elizabeth Anionwu with the Pride Of Britain 2019 Lifetime Achievement award.

The star is well known for championing various charities and she has supported dozens in the past, from donating funds to be more hands-on involved.

The 53-year-old singer once famously phoned in to The Ellen DeGeneres Show while it was filming and joked that she had "found $10,000 in small change in her couch cushions."

She then promptly donated this to the Small Change Campaign, which had been launched by Ellen along with Hollywood actor Ben Affleck, in support of Feeding America.

Earlier in the evening, Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden arrived in a plunging black dress, with matching crutches, after she broke her leg in two places the week before while she was on holiday.

All eyes were also on Holly Willoughby's flame-red dress as she was celebrated as one of the star turns on the red carpet ahead of the awards ceremony.

The Pride of Britain Awards are hosted by Carol Vorderman, who sat on the judging panel, alongside Christine Lampard, Susanna Reid, Eamonn Holmes.

It is the 20th anniversary of the awards and the guest list has seen a plethora of star names from the world of showbiz attending.

The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards, in partnership with TSB, will broadcast on ITV on 5th November at 8pm .
