Nine global music stars held on Thursday night a concert in Jeddah, the largest of its kind in the Arab world, as part of the Jeddah Season festival.
A cheering crowd danced to the thumping music at Jeddah World Fest, hosted in the Red Sea city of western Saudi Arabia.
Held at the King Abdullah Sports City, pop icon Janet Jackson, rapper 50 Cent, Liam Payne, of One Direction fame, and superstar DJ Steve Aoki were among the performers.
The concert was broadcast live on television in over a 100 countries and to hundreds of millions of viewers.
Over the past several months, the Kingdom has seen performances by Mariah Carey, Enrique Iglesias, the Black Eyed Peas, Sean Paul, David Guetta and Tiesto.
Kpop global sensation BTS is scheduled to hold a concert in Riyadh in October.
