Jane Weaver has quietly become one of our favourite artists over the past year or so, with rave album reviews and Alexis Petridis singling out her album The Silver Globe for one of his weekly videos. Our view is that anyone who combines synthpop and space rock – while also being willing to sing the praises of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal on social media – must be an entirely good thing.
So here’s the video for her new single I Need a Connection, an animation put together by her label boss (and husband) Andy Votel of Finders Keepers.
