Jane Seymour fans did a double take on Friday when the star posed for a picture with her stunt double on the set of her new show Harry Wild.
The former Bond girl, who played Solitaire in Live and Let Die, is currently in Ireland shooting the detective series and Irish stuntwoman Orlaith Doherty has been drafted in to do some of the more risky scenes.
Taking to her Instagram Jane wrote: "It takes two, baby. Me and you - just takes two!
"Meet the wonderful @orlaithdohertystunts, my very talented stunt double who’s keeping me safe on #HarryWild! @acorn_tv"
In the pictures the two are dressed identically in character wearing tan leather biker jackets, dark navy jeans and grey turtle necks.
However, this is not Orlaith’s first time covering stunts for a well known name.
She previously doubled for Jennifer Aniston on the Netflix movie, Murder Mystery, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner in the television series Survive and even for Hillary Rose in The Young Offenders.
The Dubliner trained as an actor in The Gaiety School of Acting and finished among the top of the class for stage combat.
She later took up undertook additional training organised through Stunt Guild Ireland and is now highly in demand for her work.
Her career choice isn’t as surprising as it seems as she has always been into health and fitness. In an interview with The Examiner in February this year she said:
“I skied for Ireland in the Youth Olympics. I was skiing since I was three years old. My family were keen scuba divers. I’ve always done a bit of everything but I have definitely pushed my training in stunt driving, and I’ve been really getting into motorbikes now as well.”
Other high profile projects she has worked on include Vikings, Nightflyers and Horizon Line.
And she feels there are a lot of opportunities for women in the stunt business saying in the same interview: “There are a lot more projects coming through where the women have as many roles as the guys.”
Harry Wild sees Jane playing a recently retired English professor who takes an active interest in the criminal cases assigned to her police detective son.
While staying with him she finds herself mixed up in a murder investigation he is working on.
The Dublin set mystery series is co-written by Irish writer Jo Spain.
