Two decades have passed since Jane McDonald became a small-screen sensation thanks to BBC show The Cruise.
The series was one of the first big fly-on-the-wall reality shows of the modern era and as one of the ship's star acts Jane was a main player and a huge favourite with millions of viewers.
The show led to Jane landing a big record deal and her debut album was a chart smash. It paved the way for many more releases and, as well as racking up plenty of sales and packing out venues with her singing, Jane has also remained a permanent fixture on our TV screens.
She was a panellist on Loose Women for a number of years and more recently won a BAFTA for her popular Channel 5 show Cruising with Jane McDonald, as well as bagging another ratings winner for the channel with Jane McDonald & Friends.
Back to her music and the Yorkshire diva is hitting the road next year on her Let In The Light In tour which will see her perform in Tyneside for the first time in a number of years. With stunning production and a new line-up of songs, the tour promises to be the best one yet.
