Jamie Winstone's boyfriend proposed at Glastonbury Festival and she said yes

Babs star Jaime Winstone has got engaged at Glasto.

Her long-term boyfriend, DJ James Suckling, went down on one knee as the loved-up pair watched the sun set over Worthy Farm on Thursday.

I’m told James was originally planning to propose to Ray Winstone’s daughter during a performance at some point over the weekend. But he got carried away as the couple cuddled up outside their luxury tipi.

My source said: “James and Jaime were having such a beautiful moment watching the sun set together, he thought ‘Why wait?’”

Made in Dagenham star Jaime was previously engaged to Game of Thrones’ Alfie Allen. She started seeing James in 2015 and gave birth to son Raymond the following year.

Rumours swirled that they were already engaged and even married. But it appears James had never popped the question – until now.

A friend said: “Jaime and James like to keep their private life as private as possible.

“They were happy to keep people guessing.”

While most girls would hate being proposed to while dressed in wellies and covered in mud, it was a dream come true for Jaime.

The 36-year-old, who appeared as Firework on the last series of The Masked Singer, has been going to Glasto since she was a child.

The former party girl has enjoyed many wild weeks at Worthy Farm with pals including Nick Grimshaw, Kate Moss, Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung.

But none will be as memorable as this one.
