Roy Keane and Jamie Redknapp may have been on Sky Sports to discuss Manchester City's clash against Chelsea, but the conversation naturally also deviated away to Jose Mourinho and Tottenham.
Chelsea lost 2-1 at City but it was Mourinho's first game in charge for Spurs earlier in the day which also had Keane and Redknapp debating nearer the end of the programme.
Keane, for one, was at his usually frank and honest best but he did go over the line once, and of all times it was a dig at Spurs whilst former Tottenham midfielder Redknapp was the only other pundit in the studio.
"They’ve got quality,” Keane said after Saturday's tea-time match.
"I’ve always said when you’ve got a goalscorer like Harry Kane you’ve got a chance of winning football matches.
"Obviously Tottenham have had a weakness to them for 20 years."
Redknapp was having none of it and snapped back at the former Manchester United star in classic fashion.
Masking his frustration with a partly serious tone, Redknapp chimed in: "Oh come on, when my Dad was there they weren't.
"When I was there they were weak but not when my Dad was there. I’ve had Gary Neville say that."
Keane then clarified his comments on Tottenham by adding: "We always class Spurs as a cup team haven’t we and there’s a bit of an insult to that. Jose will want to change that mentality and it will take a bit of work."
