Jamie Redknapp has slammed Arsenal for their performance against Liverpool on Saturday night.
The Gunners fell to a 3-0 home defeat to last season's Premier League champions, a defeat that could have a big impact on their European qualification hopes.
Mikel Arteta's men are now seven points behind sixth and six points behind seventh despite having played a game more, and that could mean their chances of qualifying for Europe hang on winning the Europa League.
But the result is not the most disappointing part for Arsenal fans with the defensive performance, a plan that clearly didn't work, most likely to upset Gunners.
Or at least that's according to Sky Sports pundit Redknapp, who said after the game: "Arsenal have always been an attacking side that have been a joy to watch throughout the Premier League, the Bergkamps and Van Persies, the strikers you couldn't wait to watch, but right now, Arsenal fans are probably watching that game behind their sofa.
"They don’t want to hear about their team defending better, they’d rather lose the game 4-3 than play in that manner with the defending slightly better, if you like. This is Arsenal we’re talking about.
“I thought they were so poor today in every respect."
Redknapp added: "The manager sets the team up, Aubameyang was playing as a left-back for most of the game, you want to see him up the pitch, being the talisman and leading them.
"Before Tierney went off, we saw a graphic of their average position on the pitch and he was deeper than Tierney - that can’t be the case. As a manager, you have to be more attacking.
"Having worked with Pep, I think he’s got money in the bank because he won the cup, that helped him, but their performances since they’ve won the cup aren’t good enough.”
