Chelsea have been sent a warning over Liverpool after suffering a setback in the race for a top four finish.
The Blues were beaten by London rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night after Jorginho's poor back pass helped gift the Gunners the eventual winner, courtesy of Emile Smith Rowe.
The defeat means Chelsea are only seven points ahead of Liverpool, who can move within one point should they win their games in-hand, though one of those is against Manchester United tonight.
But if Jurgen Klopp's men do find their way past second-placed United, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp believes they could become favourites to sneak into fourth.
“If Liverpool win tomorrow, the rest of the games, you can look at those and think they can get maximum points from them," he told Sky Sports. "It might make them favourites to sneak into one of those top four places.
"We’re basing it on predicting results but at this time of the season, it’s so unpredictable, you don’t know what’s going to happen.
"It’s a brilliant night for Leicester, Liverpool and West Ham - they’ll still believe they’ve got a chance because we all predicted that Chelsea would get three points today.
"Tomorrow, Liverpool have got such a big game and if they can get three points, people will start to think they can do it.”
Chelsea still have to play Leicester City and Aston Villa in their remaining two Premier League games, while Liverpool have more favourable fixtures on paper beyond the clash with United, against West Brom, Burnley and Crystal Palace.
The Blues also have another opportunity to qualify for next season's Champions League even if they don't make the top four, but they would need to beat Manchester City in this season's final.
